Our goal is to assist you in achieving a more optimal lifestyle. The treatment modality consists of individual, group and family therapy combined with education, activities and a supportive living environment that is designed to assist you in developing new coping skills to overcome any emotional, medical or addictive behavior problems.
The Adult Services Program provides inpatient psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment for patients ages 18+. Your treatment team consists of a group of dedicated and highly trained mental health professionals which include psychiatrists, psychologists, case managers, marriage and family counselors, Registered Nurses, medication nurses, behavioral health specialists, adjunctive therapists and chemical dependency counselors.
The staff is here to provide you with the assistance that you need to improve your insight as well as encourage you to develop your independence, hopefulness and a balanced sense of well-being.
Throughout all phases of assessment, treatment and after discharge, all staff members maintain a strict code of confidentiality.
In the event there is a medical emergency, our staff will contact a family member or emergency contact to maintain a continuous line of care at all times.
We will try and answer any questions you may have and we encourage family, friends and caregivers to participate.
Daily Schedule
Each day has a full schedule of groups, educational events and activities. The schedule varies from day to day to provide a comprehensive approach to treatment. Program schedules are posted near the Unit lounges.
Medical Examinations/Laboratory Tests/Medications
A physician will give you a medical exam within the first 24 hours of your admission.
Your treating psychiatrist may order additional tests if needed. Please check with your psychiatrist if you have questions regarding tests or test results.
You may receive medication(s) as part of your treatment. Your psychiatrist will prescribe them and will discuss this with you. You may need to sign a consent form for your medication. Please discuss any concerns or complications you may feel from the medication with your psychiatrist and/or the nursing staff.
Patient Telephones/Payphones
Patient Telephones/Payphones are available for use on all units. The phones are for use only during free time, when no groups are scheduled and between the hours of 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.
