Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our Adolescent PHP is designed as a comprehensive afternoon treatment that supports teenagers with acute mental health needs. The program runs Monday through Friday, integrating therapeutic and educational activities.
It is structured to feel like a supportive school day. There are therapy sessions and guided study times that accommodate each teen’s academic requirements. This balance ensures that adolescents receive intensive care without falling behind in their education.
Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The Adolescent IOP at Charter Oak offers a flexible treatment schedule tailored to fit after-school hours. We make it easier for teens to engage without disrupting their daily routines.
Sessions are held three days a week, providing a mix of group therapy, educational activities, and personal study times. This program is ideal for those stepping down from more intensive care or those who need more support than traditional therapy offers.
It focuses on developing coping strategies, managing emotions, and building resilience in a setting that respects the unique pressures teens face today.
Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program for Adolescents
Our Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program (CD-IOP) is specifically tailored for adolescents dealing with substance use issues. This outpatient program provides a structured environment where teens attend group therapy sessions focused on recovery topics. This includes relapse prevention, coping skills, and managing triggers.
Held three times a week, this program supports sustained recovery while allowing adolescents to remain in their personal lives and continue their education.
