Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Aurora Charter Oak’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a structured outpatient program that provides support and treatment for individuals facing mental health and/or substance use problems. PHP is designed as an alternative to, or transition from inpatient treatment, with weekly visits from a psychiatrist, case management, family meetings, and other services offered. Clients are usually scheduled for a minimum of 20 hours of group therapy a week. Group assignment is based on the individual’s treatment needs, with both mental health and chemical dependency groups available. Most private insurance companies cover PHP, as does Medicare. We provide complimentary local transportation along with breakfast and lunch.
