Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Aurora Charter Oak’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a structured outpatient program providing treatment for individuals facing mental health and/or substance use problems. PHP is designed as an alternative to, or transition from inpatient treatment, with weekly visits from a psychiatrist, case management, family meetings, and other services offered. Clients are scheduled for a minimum of 20 hours of group therapy a week. Group assignment is based on the individual’s treatment needs, with both mental health and chemical dependency groups available. Most private insurance companies cover PHP, as does Medicare. For our in-person program, we provide complimentary local transportation along with breakfast and lunch. Telehealth (via Zoom) may be available as an alternative, please call us to check on our current schedule.
