At Aurora Charter Oak Behavioral Health Care, we address each patient’s individualized treatment needs and life schedule. Aurora Charter Oak Behavioral Health Care offers intensive outpatient services, including Partial Hospitalization Programming (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), utilizing evidence-based practices that assist our patients on their path to wellness and recovery.
Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
PHP provides active treatment for individuals with acute mental illness and/or addiction issues. Attendance is Monday through Friday. Programming is based on highly structured, evidenced-based treatment models offered within a safe and therapeutic environment.
Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Adult IOP provides intensive short-term treatment to balance treatment needs with everyday responsibilities. Attendance is three days per week, three hours per day. Groups focus on tools for symptom management and sustained recovery. We offer this program in the mornings or in the evenings. Please call us today to inquire more information.
Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program
Our Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program (CDD-IOP) is an outpatient treatment for substance abuse disorder. It offers continued care for hospitalized detox patients as well as those trying to maintain their sobriety. Patients participate in group therapy and ongoing education about their addictions, focusing on relapse prevention, withdrawal management, and coping skills to manage triggers and cravings. The treatment team includes a psychiatrist, nurse, and licensed chemical dependency therapist. Our CD-IOP is three days per week.
*Patients must be sober and off all substances, including prescribed addictive medications.
